Let’s make “KYO-GASHI”（Traditional Japanese Confectionery of Kyoto）
From ancient times, artisans of various world of specialty have been cultivating tradition in Kyoto. The world of wagashi（traditional Japanese confectionery）is one of such. Our store was founded more than 210 years ago, and today we offer classes for “namagashi” making lessons. (namagashi means “raw sweets” which is a type of wagashi that is presented at occasions such as the tea ceremony) Class participants will make namagashi that colorfully expresses seasonal elegance with our artisan. There will be some explanation about wagashi as well.

No classes on Sundays, during Gion Festival (7/11~7/17), during Bon period (8/10〜8/16) , end of the year and New Years (12/6 ~1/7)
